Attention agents!
We remind you about the unified standardized format of the “Free text” field in the request for the transportation of animals:
• A standard request for the carriage of an animal in the cabin looks like:
Request example:
SSR PETC/5KG KENNEL 44X30X26 1P DOG YORKSHIRE
SSR PETC/5KG CARRIER 40X40X40 2P CAT
Standard request format:
SSR PETC/NKG KENNEL NXNXN NP DOG YORKSHIRE
SSR PETC/NKG CARRIER NXNXN NP CAT
and contains the following mandatory controlled parameters:
– PETC – the format of the request for the carriage of an animal in the passenger cabin;
– NKG weight:
N – a number from 1 to 8 (the total weight of an animal together with the container), (an animal over 8KG is transported to AVIH)
KG is the only function word allowed here;
– type of container:
KENNEL – rigid cage;
CARRIER – soft container;
– container size:
if KENNEL, then the dimensions NxNxN should not exceed 44 × 30 × 26,
if CARRIER, then the dimensions NxNxN by sum should not exceed 126cm;
– NP number of heads in the cage:
N* – a number from 1 to 3,
P is the only admissible function word here.
– the type of animal (for dogs, the breed must be indicated).
* In the aircraft cabin (PETC) in one container you can carry:
kittens or puppies in the amount of no more than three heads over the age of eight weeks, but not over six months, if the weight of the animals together with the container does not exceed 8 kg;
two adult animals older than 6 months, if their weight together with the container does not exceed 8 kg.
If the weight of a puppy or kitten (including the container) exceeds 8 kg, it can be transported in the baggage hold, subject to the rules for transporting animals in the baggage hold.
• A standard request for the carriage of an animal in the baggage hold looks like:

Standard request format:
SSR AVIH/NKG KENNEL NXNXN NP DOG DOBERMAN
and contains the following mandatory controlled parameters:
– AVIH – the format of the request for the carriage of an animal in the baggage hold;
– NKG weight:
N – a number from 1 to 50 (the total weight of an animal together with the container), (an animal over 50 KG is transported as cargo),
KG is the only function word allowed here;
– type of container:
KENNEL – rigid cage;
– container size:
dimensions NxNxN;
– the number of heads in the cage NP:
N – always number 1 (always one animal is transported in AVIH);
P is the only admissible function word here,
– the type of animal (for dogs, the breed must be indicated).
Each of the elements in the request is specified in strict sequence, observing spaces.
For non-compliance with the requirements to the formats of requests for the carriage of animals, ADMs will be issued in accordance with clause 20 of the current ADM policy of PJSC “Aeroflot” for direct agents and BSP agents.
Important! The passenger has the right to arrange the carriage of no more than 3 animals older than 6 months:
– 1 animal in the passenger cabin and 2 animals in the hold;
– 2 animals in the passenger cabin in one container with a total weight of no more than 8 kg and 1 animal in the baggage hold.
When carried in the hold, each container must contain only 1 animal.
We remind you that a request for carriage of animal can be made no later than 6 hours before the scheduled departure time. For transportation in the passenger cabin (PETC), the weight of an animal/ bird together with the container must not exceed 8 kg. The size of a soft closed-type carrying bag by sum of three dimensions should not exceed 126 cm. The dimensions of a rigid container for transporting an animal/ bird in the passenger cabin in length, width and height should not exceed 44x30x26 cm.
