Aerolineas Argentinas | FITUR 2022 - Group Quotations - Covid Policy and Refunds

A Aerolineas Argentinas informa:

Dear partner, I hope you enjoyed the holidays, and you are all doing great.

First of all, two quick things:

  1. Covid has reached our office and our already burdened helpdesk-groupdesk, is under minimums. For this reason, we have not been / we are not being able to submit quotations for new groups. I think we will get back to normal in two weeks, and you can expect that all of you who have been applying for new quotations, will have an answer before the end of January.
  2. Fitur (International Travel Fair), will be hosted in Madrid between the 19-23 Jan. We will be there and if you are planning to attend, I will be happy to meet with you there, and discuss about all the issues and ways of collaboration for the next season.

Due to the new infections record breaking outbreak in Argentina, caused by the Omicron variant, we have been forced to cancel some flights in January, and you might have passengers affected.

In addition to our commercial policy that is valid for issues up to Nov 30, 2021

Those passengers with date of travel Jan 10, 2022,

Passengers WITH CANCELED FLIGHTS WITHOUT RELOCATION, with original date of travel 01/10/22, a change may be made with the following conditions as long as the new date travel ends on / before July 31, 2022:

Changes of date (*)

     • Without fare/miles difference, as long as the new ticket is for the same season as the original ticket (*).

     • Without penalty, in all cases

Changes of route (*)

     •  Without penalty, but paying the fare/miles difference, if any.

Exception:

Change to an alternative route (the closest to the origin/destination originally contracted, and all transfer expenses are beared by the passenger) that is within 15 days from the date of travel original, either advancing or postponing the flight. In this case:

     • Without fare/miles difference, as long as the new ticket is for the same season as the original ticket (*).

     • Without penalty, in all cases

B) Passengers who wish to change their travel date for one that ends after July 31 2022

     • Without fare/miles difference, as long as the new ticket is for the same season as the original ticket (*).

     • Without penalty, paying the fare /miles difference if any.

Validity of the tickets:

VCR. All changes must be made within the validity of the ticket that is usually 12 months

EMD. Validity is 12 months from the date of issuance.

REFUNDS:

All >4 hours delayed flights OR cancelled flights: refund is allowed without penalty. You can process the refund via BSP link or GDS. There is no need to request for authorization in these cases. We are not making any exception for commercial reasons at this moment.
